    Processed Foods and Inflammation

    Consuming over-processed foods high in sugar and white flour can contribute to weight gain, impacting joint health. Opting for whole grains, fruits, and nuts instead of processed foods can help manage weight and reduce inflammation.

    Knuckle Cracking

    Cracking knuckles is often debated, but it can have adverse effects on joints. The popping sound comes from bubbles in the synovial fluid, which lubricates the joints. Frequent knuckle cracking may lead to joint pain over time.

    Uncomfortable Footwear

    Wearing high heels or poorly fitting shoes can misalign the feet and strain the knees and back. This can lead to joint problems and pain. Opting for supportive and well-fitting footwear can help mitigate these issues.

    Include nuts and seeds such as walnuts, cashews, and pistachios in your diet. Use extra virgin olive oil for cooking and consider adding ghee or coconut flesh for healthy fats that lubricate joints and aid in nutrient absorption.

    Avoid Certain Foods

    Limit consumption of tomatoes, lemons, dairy products, and wheat, which could aggravate joint pain. Ensure you get enough vitamin C from sources like guava and kokum to maintain overall health and reduce inflammation.

    Monitor Vitamin Levels

    Regularly check your vitamin B12 and vitamin D3 levels, as deficiencies can be linked to arthritis. Consult a healthcare provider for appropriate supplements if necessary.

    Preventing Arthritis

    While some factors like age and genetics cannot be changed, there are steps you can take to lower your risk:

    Avoid Injuries

    Proper posture during daily activities helps prevent joint strain. Lift objects correctly by bending your knees and keeping them close to your body, and ensure proper support while sitting for long periods.
